On Saturday 2nd July at Upton Value Church, Home for Good in partnership with Riding Lights Theatre Company is holding a performance of a fantastic original play, ‘My Place’.
The play shares the interwoven stories of four care-experienced individuals. A teenager, a pair of siblings and an unaccompanied child refugee. They have different backgrounds and journeys, brought to life through a range of colourful story-telling techniques, including song and spoken word. Each story highlights the need for all children and teenagers to have a safe, stable and loving homes where they can thrive.
This play is for anyone who cares about vulnerable children and teenagers and has a passion for justice. We hope that through ‘My Place’, many people will gain a better understanding of the experience of children in care and young refugees.
Tickets cost £10 and £8 for concessions and can be booked here.
