ACCESSIBILITY

We want to make our building and the time people spend together as comfortable and accessible as possible. Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to meet your needs, or if you need to check anything before you come.

Access

There aren’t any steps into the main church.

We have one accessible toilet near the main doors of the church.

There is a step into the Kirkham Chapel to the right of main space, where people light candles and have private prayer.

We have moveable chairs and wide aisles allowing easy movement for those using wheelchairs or mobility aids.

Large Print service booklets are available on request.

SERVICES

On Sundays (except a few high days up at the high altar) we take communion kneeling or standing without needing to navigate steps at the altar rails, or we can bring the elements to people in their seats - do let one of the welcome team know if you’d like assistance.

On weekday communions communion is taken at the altar rail with no steps to navigate.

Gluten-free wafers are also available on request.

There is a hearing loop.

Quiet space

Anyone who needs to move to a quiet space is welcome to sit in a side chapel or in the foyer at any time.
