Accessibility

We want to share our building with as many people as possible and are working hard to make the changes needed to welcome and make comfortable all those who wish to visit. Old buildings were not built with inclusivity in mind, but we are on a journey and all feedback and advice from those who have access needs is truly welcome!

The tour involves explores the church yard which has uneven ground and tripping hazards. Access to the rear of the building may not be possible by wheelchair or by those with limited mobililty, the tour guide will adjust the tour accordingly.

There is an opportunity to use the tower steps up to the gallery and belltower, unfortunately these are unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility as they are narrow, steep and spiralled!

There are ramps in the church building to all areas covered in the tour, and places to sit regularly. Visitors are encouraged to sit and move as is comfortable.

The guide does not use any amplification devices, for those hard of hearing it will be important to notify the guide as to what will be helpful.

There is one accessible toilet at the entrance to the building.
